We are delighted to invite you to a vibrant celebration of Baishakhi, বৈশাখী– where we come together to showcase and honor our rich cultural heritage.

Many vendors have signed up for the event and will be selling sarees, jewelry, and beautiful showcase items, so come shop for your favorite merchandise.
The event will feature an array of performances by our extremely talented local artists. These will include children’s presentations- নাচিবি ঘিরি ঘিরি, গাহিবি গান- to the soul-stirring melodies, to solo drama, captivating dance performances, and a unique instrumental যুগলবন্দী, a harmonious symphony of sitar and tabla.
The evening culminates with “রাগে ও রঙে,” a vibrant finale weaving voice, melody, and rhythm to explore the classical roots of Bengali music. This first-of-its-kind DC presentation brings together an exceptional trio: New York–based Hindustani classical vocalist Sanchari Bhattacharyya, joined by renowned DMV artists Soumya Chakraverty on Sarod and Debapriya (Debu) Nayak on Tabla — musicians celebrated across iconic stages from the Kennedy Center to the Library of Congress.
