From the desk of Sanskriti Election Committee
Dear Sanskriti Members and Friends,
2024 is gradually approaching its end and the Election Committee once again seeks your valued response in the search process designed to fill up the upcoming vacancies in the different offices of Sanskriti.
We are soliciting a total of five volunteers to serve Sanskriti for these specific offices in 2025 (and beyond):
- Board of Directors (BOD): Three positions for two years
- Community Council (CC): One position for five years
- Election Committee (EC): One position for three years
Board of Directors Vacancies
The Election Committee of Sanskriti wishes to inform the community that by the end of 2024, three current Board of Directors (BOD) positions will be vacated. Consequently, to ensure a smooth transition for the 2025 BOD, Sanskriti will need three candidates prepared to serve on the board for the coming years. These three candidates will have a two-year term. To be eligible for nomination to the BOD, candidates must have been a member of Sanskriti for at least 30 days as of the nomination closing date. We encourage you to participate in this process by either expressing your interest in serving or nominating potential candidates for these positions. Sanskriti relies on enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to serve on the Board and help organize community activities throughout the year. Please consider nominating yourself or others.
The last date for nominations to be received is September 15th, 2024. Incomplete/late applications may not be accepted.
Community Council (CC) Vacancy
We will have one position available on the Community Council (CC) due to either the completion of a term or other reasons. The Election Committee invites your nominations to fill this position for a five-year term. Nominees should have served on the Sanskriti Board of Directors (BOD) for at least one year and have been Sanskriti member in good standing for at least five years. The deadline for submitting nominations is September 15th, 2024. Please note that late submissions may not be accepted.
Election Committee (EC) Vacancy
We will have one position open on the Election Council (EC) due to either the completion of a term or other reasons. The Election Committee invites nominations to fill this position for a three-year term. Nominees must have served on the Sanskriti Board of Directors (BOD) for at least one year and have been a Sanskriti member in good standing for at least five years. The deadline for submitting nominations is September 15th, 2024. Please note that late nominations may not be accepted.
